Just Passed my Driving Test!! Thanks to my Instructor – Moona Majid, I Passed on the first try.

I honestly wouldn’t have been able to pass if it wasn’t for my instructor making sure that I was ready for the test and anything I was struggling with was perfected. Everything was clear and explained well to me with examples and explanations. I would highly recommend if you’re struggling to pass.

I have just passed my test, I was taught by Mr Sheikh Jamal and what teacher he is, he was very calm and collected, he calmed me down whenever I panic or stress, he’s experienced and wise, he would give advice and correct you patiently when you make a mistake. I wouldn’t recommend a better teacher than him, he’s top notch at his job, and because of his personality and professionalism I’m gonna tell my daughter to use the same school and have him as a teacher, the man deserves a bl**dy raise. He’s a credit to this company.

Abdul was my driving instructor for the few months since I met him up until I passed my test.

I would like to give a massive thanks to him for his patience, encouragement, attentiveness, and hospitality shown towards me as I learned with him and prepared for my driving test. From the beginning when I met him, he paid attention to my thought process and approach to my driving and gave advice on how to move forward (I’m a massive overthinker). He gave clear instructions on maneuvers and made them easy to remember. Furthermore, he simply didn’t teach how to drive a car and pass a test, but also little things such as awareness and planning for yourself and other road users. Things like this made me realize he is not just a driving instructor but a teacher for life.

Prior to looking for a driving instructor, I had been involved in a serious accident where I had been run over on the pavement as a pedestrian and because of that accident I had PTSD which made the idea of being around fast, moving vehicles again unbearable. So when it came to learning how to drive it was crucial that I found an instructor that understood what had happened to me and how that would affect me as a driver. Jamshaid was the perfect choice for me.

Whilst being understanding of my situation, he pushed me to achieve the same milestones as any other driver and made me feel confident that I could do it exactly the same as they could. And I did do it exactly the same as they did it. I passed first time with only three minors which I would never have believed if someone told me that a couple years ago.

Jamshaid has a very calm and encouraging approach that makes you feel comfortable in situations that are uncomfortable. He’s extremely patient and is able to turn your feelings of frustration and failure into a positive and always suggests a way to improve that feels manageable. He’s also very accommodating and reliable when it comes to scheduling lessons and also adding time on for where it’s been lost. I’d also like to say as much as this isn’t vital in an instructor, Jamshaid has an excellent sense of humour. I found that having banter made the lessons fly by and put me at such ease when driving that my confidence grew without me realising.

Long story short, if you’re willing to put the work in, having Jamshaid as your instructor would be a true blessing and I am deeply grateful that I was taught by him. Bring on PassPlus!!
